Workplace Harassment

 

On 14th July, 2017, Naina Jha @27nainajha conducted a Tweetchat on Workplace Harassment.

The chat began by first asking the participants what they understood by workplace harassment and whether any of them had experienced any form of harassment or molestation at their workplace. A lot of the participants spoke openly about ways in which they had been commented on or stared at and other forms of harassment. The chat also discussed whether these issues could be discussed with male colleagues, the process for complaining and reporting grievances and getting it solved without the victim being harassed any further. At the end of the chat, Naina opened the discussion to suggestions from the audience for solutions or help for those who go through harassment.
