In observance of International Democracy Day on 15th Sep 2020, Red Dot Foundation and the Consulate General of Sweden, Mumbai invites the youth of your esteemed college/institute to become ‘Young Democracy Advocates’ by participating in ‘Democracy Talks’ – a democracy-themed discussion initiated by the Swedish Government worldwide to encourage the exchange of tangible thoughts, practical ideas and action-oriented plans towards building a robust, active democracy.

This session will focus on the theme ‘Accelerating Equality’ – to discuss the role of youth in an active democracy and share actionable ideas for building women and LGBTQ friendly cities.

The session will include opening remarks by the dignitaries and will continue with moderated group discussions among the participants

Only interested youth between 18 to 25 years from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa can participate

Participants will receive an Online certificate for contributing to this discussion and becoming a ‘Young Democracy Advocate’

Through interactive sessions, youth will be able to design and develop their citizen action plans.
