Safecity Emerging Leader- Anjana Priya J. R.
For a long time, I was searching for a platform where I could voice out my opinions without any sort of restrictions. I’m elated to say that Safecity has provided me with that opportunity. Interning at Safecity has not only provided me with an incredible space to write about concerning matters but also taught me how to structure articles in a way that’s both informative and reader-friendly.
Although I have always wanted to do such an internship, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to do it properly. I was always doubtful whether I could handle both my studies and the internship. Surprisingly, I realised I could do both without compromising on the time and effort put into either of it. Each of the articles I write requires extensive research. While researching, I learn about all the aspects of the issue that I’m writing about and also about various related matters. In this way, I gain knowledge even about unheard or less heard matters which motivates me to later create awareness about the same.
At Safecity, I’ve also learnt to handle responsibilities and time efficiently. With every task that I complete, I feel more confident and hopeful. I am hopeful that I can continue to write for such a cause and be a part of the change we wish to see in our society. I thank Safecity for this inspiring journey!
