Shraddha Sehgal
“We cannot succeed when half of us are held back”- said Malala Yousafzai and Shraddha belongs to the other half who aren’t. She is a 3rd year law student who loves reading and dancing. Her passion to live in a just and equal city brings her to Safecity.
She decided to volunteer for Safecity to make her city a safer one, a city where she doesn’t have to cover up, inhibit herself, subject herself to discrimination and constantly worry about being safe. Being safe is a right and a demand she wouldn’t let go of.
Shraddha wants as many people to work towards making their cities safer than just politicizing and capitalizing on the problem. She wants to fight her side of the battle in pinning the creeps and breaking stereotypes that create gender binaries. She asks- “Wouldn’t you want to join me too?”
She is a 3rd year law student who loves reading and dancing. She decided to volunteer for Safecity because she actually wants a safe city where she doesn't have to think twice before going out all by herself and she feels it's high time we stop cribbing about the problem and actually start working for it. "We cannot succeed when half of us are held back"- Malala Yousafzai So let's get together and Pin the Creep!
