100 Unsafe Areas- Mumbai

The Shakti Mills rape in Mumbai brought back the focus that Mumbai also has hotspots as it was evident that the same location was used to rape at least 4 other women before this infamous incident. Similarly several other incidents from that area would have gone unreported.

Would it not be important for us to identify these hotspots and make adjustment/changes so that our neighbourhoods are safer? Read our Bandra case study to learn more about how the residents took charge and collaborated with the police to make Bandra safer.
