The SPS Centre for Gender Violence Research invites all colleagues and students to:
Use of technology and crowdsourced data to address Gender Based Violence in public spaces
The problem of sexual violence and women’s safety in public places is an issue of international concern, and has been a policy concern in India, particularly since 2015. There have been several initiatives to combat this, and the Centre for Gender and Violence Research invites you to a seminar on ‘ The Use of technology and crowdsourced data to address GBV in public spaces’, presented by Elsa D’Silva, our Founder
ElsaMarie D’Silva is an experienced aviation professional who is interested in bringing about social change to improve the lives of women, youth and senior citizens through awareness, interaction and education. Safecity.in is the first of her social projects.
Drinks will be served in the Common Room of 8 Priory Road, Bristol, BS8 1TZ at 16:30 prior to the Seminar which will begin at 17:00. Places are free but MUST be booked.
