Jyotsna Kalra
Jyotsna Kalra has a raging passion for travelling, meeting new people and living life to the fullest. She is a law student who is pursuing her studies actively to get into women’s rights. She is very passionate about the issues that plague our society and this is what keeps her going. She refers to herself as a humanitarian rather than just a feminist. She applied for Safecity just five minutes before the deadline went off, which she terms as her ‘best decision,’ and has been managing the team of outreach volunteers for over a year now.
Jyotsna has designed various campaigns and interventions to build Safecity’s work in the capital which has the reputation of being the most unsafe city in India.
Jyotsna is on her journey to not only make this city safer for women but also advocate for the most fundamental right a woman should have- Freedom. Jyotsna has represented Safecity on various national and international platforms and was the runner up at Uninor’s “Internet for all” challenge.
