We rise everyday, 16th Dec 2014!

Ahead of 16th Decemeber 2014, Safecity’s Delhi team went around speaking to people in the crowded and the not-so-crowded spaces of Connaught Place, New Delhi. We asked people what has changed for them after the brutally horrific gang rape of 16th Dec 2012. Those statements and stories that came along highlighted the fear with which women are still living and moving around in the city.

We asked- What has changed? Do we understand equality? What are we really waiting for? How long will this battle for safer cities be? These questions troubled us and continue to motivate us. Our social media campaign highlighted those voices and broken silences for a better tomorrow while we work today.
