Illustrated Stories

Illustrated Stories was a workshop on using comic illustrations to tell stories and was a part of the One Billion Rising movement. This workshop was help on 16th Feb 2019 at ISDI Mumbai.

The theme of the workshop was talking about Gender issues through art.The participants learned about the different types of illustrations and how you can tell a story by simple illustrations.

We had a conversation about where does the it all start. Why there is a need for feminism and other interesting topics.
The participants were asked to write down a character sketch of their character and then asked to draw it.

At the end they also shared their stories. A few children from Save the Children also attended the workshop and wowed everyone with their drawing skills.
