Is Women Entrepreneurship an Obstacle Race?

On 10th November 2017, Anupama Kapoor @anupamaskapoor, the Founder of Reboot Network hosted a tweetchat on the topic ‘Is Women Entrepreneurship an Obstacle Race?’

The questions raised during the tweetchat included barriers faced by women in their entrepreneurial journey, how these barriers can be overcome, how GES2017 is important for women entrepreneurs in India, how mentorship can help aspiring women entrepreneurs and advice for budding entrepreneurs. It was an enlightening discussion, with several women entrepreneurs joining in to share their views on the issues being discussed. Their views ranged from the fact that often women entrepreneurs are not taken seriously by investors, and how helpful a mentor can be in the entrepreneurial journey.

GES2017 will bring together 1500 entrepreneurs from all over the world for networking, fundraising etc and the theme this year is ‘Women first, prosperity for all’.
