Red Dot Foundation at the Rotary Centre (Juhu) Meet
Red Dot Foundation attended the Rotary Centre Meet at Juhu on September 28. The meeting was chaired by Mr Rajender Ruia, Ex-President, Rotary Club of Bombay West and District 3141 Avenue Chair Peace Fellowships. Other members who presided were Ex District Governor Rtn. Lata Subraidu and Rotary Peace Fellow Prof. Kishu Daswani.
Marissa Borges gave a presentation for Red Dot Foundation about SDG 5 – Gender Equality, Awareness Programs Campaigns in Schools, Colleges and Communities and the Safecity App. The presentation commenced with the awarded film by Supreet K Singh- ‘Nirbhaya Mai, Asifa Mai’. This was followed by a discussion about our work; Railway Audits, endorsement of Safe Campuses in 20 colleges in Maharashtra, the ‘Safe Campus Program’ and our current achievements – 12,000 + reports, 500,000 authorities & citizens engaged, 20,000 workshop attendees, working with 10 countries & 3 Police Forces.
The presentation was concluded with the film ‘Beta Padhao Beti Bachao’. The film motivated the audience to teach the boy child to respect and value the girl child. Mr Ruia highly recommended collaboration between Red Dot Foundation and Judge Roshan Dalvi, a Peace member.
