Safecity Emerging Leaders – Nisha
Nisha is a feminist who believes that small things make a big difference. She is someone who has always wanted to chase her dreams. She pursued a course in Humanities and when most of her friends had gone to work in IT, Nisha, who always feels stronger for social causes, was constantly searching for a platform to give back to the community. That’s when she came across Safecity. She is also passionate about singing and dancing.
I joined Safecity during the month of May as a social media and blogging intern. I never thought I would be doing an internship with Safecity. I have always wanted to raise my voice for social causes. I am glad that Safecity gave me a platform to voice out my opinions without the fear of being judged and to give back to society. I also got to know about various NGOs, the causes they work for, the effective usage of various social media platforms to bring about changes.
Working with Safecity has helped me and taught me a lot of things like punctuality, responsibility, time management, the importance and the joy of working in and as a team. I am forever grateful to Vanshika and Apurva Ma’am for having given me a chance to intern with Safecity which has shown me a way to a whole new world. I also thank my co-interns, mentors, and team leaders for having immense faith in me and for guiding and helping me out whenever I faced any obstacles or hassles.
It has been an amazing journey for me and I cherish being a part of Safecity. I thank Safecity for showing and making me believe that nothing is impossible if all of us join hands together to do our bit.
