Sustainable Cities and Communities #SDG11
On 18th August 2017, Anuja Sawant @anujasaw initiated a tweetchat about the topic “Sustainable cities and communities”.
The conversation revolved around social issues of adequate, safe and affordable housing being a basic necessity and how it can be ensured. The interactive session highlighted a uniform opinion on social housing policies, financial equality and economic growth. The chat moved forward to putting forward the concerns over those sections of society that are vulnerable (women and children) and sanitation was discussed in depth throwing light on the evils of false data and lack of facts. The chat ended with participants calling for a big change in respect to accessibility of resources to women by 2030.
