The Link between Legalised Prostitution and Human Trafficking

On 13th December, Pratiksha Balaji and Savleen Kaur, Safecity’s Social Media Interns conducted a Tweetchat on the link between “Legalised Prostitution and Human Trafficking” as a part of their campaign on creating awareness.

Initially the chat brought out the participants’ views about the legalisation of prostitution with comments about its pros and cons. The chat progressed to the discussion whether the legalisation of prostitution has been leading to increased human trafficking. There were various insights and views shared both by individuals and organisations.
